Many people hope they are good enough to get to Heaven when they die. However, the Bible makes it clear that no one will be able to get to Heaven by their own good deeds.

 

 

THE PROBLEM OF SIN

 

Sin is the bad things we all at times choose to think, say or do. God takes sin seriously. In the Bible it says that God will judge us for what we've done. The punishment for sin is eternal death, which is called Hell.

 

GOD LOVES US

 

Because God loves us He has made a rescue plan. He became a man, Jesus Christ, and lived a perfect life. He died on the cross to take the blame for the sins we've all done. He did this to save us from Hell so we can go to heaven. Jesus rose from the dead to prove that the death penalty hanging over us has been taken away. Jesus then went into Heaven and one day will return to judge the world and to save those who have trusted in Him.
