The Alpha Course
Ever wondered what it's all about?
Over 2 million people in the UK and 10 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting
over ten thought-
Each session starts with a meal together, followed by a DVD and finishing with a chance to ask questions or share your thoughts in a group discussion.
We offer the Alpha Course free of charge, including free meals at each session.
Our next Alpha Course starts with an Alpha taster evening on Monday 28th January at Libanus Church Hall, Worcester Street. The evening starts at 7.30pm and is free to all (including a free meal). From this taster evening people can get a feel of Alpha to see if they would like to come on the course.
The course is especially suited to those without any previous Church background who simply want to know a bit more about what Christians believe without being pressurised in any way.
